MGB Electrical is an approved assembler of EExe/i Hazardous Area Junction Boxes and the Bartec range of COMex control units. We carry a comprehensive range of polyester and stainless steel junction boxes ready for assembly together with a range of ATEX approved terminals, glands and blanking plugs. Coupled with our engineering expertise we can offer junction boxes to customer’s exact requirements. We understand that delivery times are often critical and our aim is always to provide the shortest lead time possible.

It is possible to buy off the shelf EExe junction boxes and control units. But what if you need extra terminals or an extra tapped hole or even a non standard cut-out. Then look no further. At MGB Electrical we can be as flexible as you need us to be (within the constraints of the ATEX licence). One of the main considerations in buying the Gillardon CNC 3 axis co-ordinated drilling and tapping machine was that we wanted a dedicated machine to handle our Hazardous Area junction box business. When used in conjunction with a Combi-tap a very accurate core diameter and thread forming is achieved. This also ensures accurate pitch control and squareness of thread. In addition to drilling and tapping, the machine has full ‘G’ code CNC control, enabling any cut out to be made anywhere on the box.
